My 2004 Subaru Impreza WRX STi (Bought 3/26/04)
For those of you already familiar with my WRX wagon pages, this will be a similar accounting of the modifications I do to this STi and their results. My first impressions of the car are truly awesome. The torque aloine makes up for the fact that I end with a car that has less hp than my Stage 2 wagon. The STi pulls incredibly and adds a midrange punch that the WRX never had, no matter what modifications I added on to it. The 6 speed tranny is very smooth and I really like the clutch operation. One of my first mods was to install the stereo system from the WRX right into the STi. It will need a different subwoofer because of the sealed trunk, but right now anything is better than the stock sound system ;) (the STi does not come with a sound system!).
